Park
M. Park Hunter is a United Methodist pastor with a geeky side. I currently serve as the North East District Superintendent, supervising 85 churches for the Wisconsin Conference of the UMC. I have served churches in Indiana, North Carolina, and Wisconsin. Before entering ministry, I worked as a resident counselor at a G/T high school, a freelance journalist specializing in antique cars, and a computer consultant.
I love fantasy and science fiction movies and books. Since high school, I’ve read J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings annually as a Christmas tradition.
I like to play games, both electronic and board. If you’d like to challenge me to an online game of chess, look for mparkh on the free chess site gameknot.com
Tinkering on and driving old cars is yet another hobby. My current project is a 1952 Crosley Hot Shot Speedster. Check out the photo album on Facebook. In the winter, I scratch my model railroad itch with the Green Bay Area Model Railroad Club, and I’m slowly modeling the old Chicago, Attica & Southern railroad.
