Anna is a student at Wellesley College in Boston, Massachusetts. I am studying Political Science and Chinese language and culture. I love living in Boston and expanding my cultural horizons. I mentor students academically at Wellesley, and I work with ESL students from Boston’s Chinatown on the Harvard Campus.
I am fascinated by world culture, and especially by the variety within China. At Christmas 2013, I travelled to southern China and worked on a water development project for a rural village.
More recently, I spent a rewarding summer in Dallas, Texas with Project Transformation and Americorp working helping refugee children with their reading and language skills.
Rowing crew on Lake Waban at Wellesley is a new sport that I am enjoying.
